A word of welcome from the Bavarian State Minister of Science and the Arts, Markus Blume, for the German-Korean Aesthetic Face Meeting
Bavaria is a unique medical location with first-class facilities in all of its regions and has a leading role in the field of cutting-edge research: In medicine, the Free State stands for best education, best research and best patient care. Our aim is to be Germany’s No. 1 location for university medicine and to be on a par with the leading locations of the world. This is why we have ushered in a new era of modern medicine with the Highmed Agenda. Medicine of the future is made in Bavaria: We want more cooperation, better translation and faster innovation!
State-of-the-art medicine utilizes the advantages of collaboration and network structures – and it thrives on exchange between disciplines and across national borders. In this spirit, medical congresses are crucial platforms for exchanging the latest research findings, expanding existing cooperation and initiating new collaborations. I am therefore delighted that top-level representatives of aesthetic and plastic surgery medicine from Europe, South Korea and the United States come together in Munich for the 1st German-Korean Aesthetic Face Meeting to present the latest findings and learn from each other.
I would like to thank all of you for your initiative, your passion and your progress and I wish you stimulating days and inspiring discussions with new insights and ideas in Bavaria’s state capital. There can be no doubt: Munich, with its scientific excellence, its unique cultural offerings and its economic strength is the ideal location for your congress.
